Man confesses to parents' murder on TV, arrested


A New York man, Lorenz Kraus, confessed on live television to killing his parents eight years ago and burying them in their backyard. The confession came after police began investigating the parents' social security payments, which continued despite their disappearance. Kraus claimed the deaths were mercy killings due to his parents' declining health. He was arrested immediately after the interview and charged with two counts of murder. His defense attorney is exploring the admissibility of his televised confession.

Cargo Ship Explosion Rocks Baltimore Harbor
