AMBER Alert Case Turns Deadly: No Abduction Found

 


Nine-year-old Melina Frattolin was found dead in Ticonderoga, New York, after an AMBER Alert was issued following a 911 call from her father, Luciano Frattolin, reporting an abduction in Lake George. Police, however, discovered inconsistencies in the father's statements and now believe the death was not an abduction. An investigation is ongoing, and charges against the father haven't been announced.

Cargo Ship Explosion Rocks Baltimore Harbor

A cargo ship, the W-Sapphire, experienced an explosion in Baltimore harbor near the Key Bridge collapse site. The Coast Guard and local fire department responded, containing the fire and guiding the vessel back to port. Twenty-three crew members were aboard, with no injuries reported.
